Forrest Chase underwent a significant redevelopment in 2017, transforming the iconic retail precinct into a modern, world-class destination. During the construction phase, an innovative campaign was commissioned to promote shopping at Myer, ensuring the area remained a vibrant hub for visitors.

Okidoki collaborated with Zebra Creative to bring bold and impactful visuals to Forrest Chase during its redevelopment. Tasked with creating hand-painted typography murals inspired by street art and vandalism, Okidoki delivered dynamic and eye-catching designs that captured attention and reflected the energy of the campaign.
Drawing on the raw and unapologetic aesthetic of urban graffiti, Okidoki used unconventional tools like a modified broom to paint the large typography. This approach achieved a raw, oversized brushstroke effect that resonated with the urban aesthetic. The results successfully drove engagement, promoted the Myer competition, and added a striking visual element to the Forrest Chase redevelopment project.
